Russia to launch direct rail traffic to Munich, Amsterdam

The Russian Railway Company is all set to launch direct traffic from Moscow to Munich in Germany and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, however the fare will be only slightly less compared to those of air tickets.

A first-class ticket to Munich will cost an average 13.5 thousand rubles and second-class travel 10 thousand rubles.

Flight fare from here to Munich is 10 thousand rubles.

Passengers travelling for Amsterdam, will have to pay 15 thousand rubles for a first-class travel and 10 thousand rubles for a second-class ticket.

Air flight fare to Amsterdam is 18 thousand rubles.

Railway cars, directly to the two cities will be attached to the Moscow-Warsaw train, the company told Tass.

It will take 37 hours to reach Munich and 39 hours for Amsterdam. - DDNEWS
