The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index is out today. It showed a little drop to 74.5 in early December.
USB comments on the fact.
"The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index dropped slightly from 76.1 to 74.5 in early December. The deterioration was solely driven by weakening expectations, which now point to about 1.5% annualized growth in real consumption. We expect 1.8% q/q annualized in 4Q07." - Via UBS.com
