Below we whet your appetite with details of what you can expect over the coming year…
Laguna Sport Tourer: stylish, roomy and sophisticated.
With its stylish lines, innovative Super-fold rear seat system and wide range of trim level and engine combinations, Renault has high hopes for its new Laguna Sport Tourer.
The new convenient Super-fold system enables the rear seats to fold down simply by pulling a small lever concealed in the rear hatch or by the rear seats, thereby giving a cavernous and completely flat load area of 1,593 litres right up to the rear of the front seats. Roof bars are standard across the range and vary in colour according to trim level.
The Laguna Sport Tourer, like the Hatch, carries the stamp of quality with three-year 100,000 mile warranty standard across the range.
Laguna Coupé Concept: elegance, driving pleasure and peace of mind
The Laguna Coupé Concept, unveiled iat the Frankfurt Motor Show, is intended for the discerning motorist who appreciates performance, driving pleasure and refinement, while marrying high-tech innovation with the essence of cool. Underpinned by the four-wheel-steer Active Drive system, which will be available on New Laguna next year, the Laguna Coupé Concept also boasts a new concept V6 dCi engine developed as part of the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
The production version of the Laguna Coupé will be launched in the UK in late 2008.
New Kangoo: more practical, more comfortable
First launched in 1997, Kangoo’s affable, expressive style revolutionised the leisure utility vehicle sector. Roomy and versatile, it has been a phenomenal success, selling over 2,200,000 units in just ten years.
Renault’s New Kangoo draws on the fundamentals of its predecessor: quality, comfort, and practicality. At 4,213mm in length, New Kangoo’s resolutely contemporary and cheery lines exert a strong appeal. Its short, chunky front end frees up space for the bright, airy passenger cabin, which is further enhanced by its steeply-raked MPV-style windscreen and doors which open into a comprehensively reworked interior.
Kangoo Van Compact ; recently unveiled at the European Road Transport Show in Amsterdam
Renault is strengthening its number one status in the European LCV segment with the launch of its New Kangoo Van Compact, a new concept in the commercial vehicles sector, designed for urban driving.
New Kangoo Van Compact is aimed at those whose jobs take them frequently into city centres, where parking and ease of manoeuvrability are critical, as well as those who just require a more compact van to meet their needs, regardless of location
Koleos Concept – adventure every day
First unveiled, at the Paris Motor Show, Koleos Concept is built on a new four-wheel drive platform which has been developed within the framework of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. This 4WD is totally in its element in any conditions and is sure to deliver genuine pleasure to its occupants whatever the road surface.
Koleos Concept features dynamic proportions. The strip between the body sides and the roof reinforces the stance of the car. The glazed roof panel is topped by profiled aluminium roof bars, while the chunky wheel arches house 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels fitted with "concept pattern" tyres. The 200mm ground clearance and front and rear aluminium protective skidplates confirm that this is a car built for adventure. The steeply raked rear window further emphasises Koleos Concept’s dynamic feel. The design of the vehicle’s rear asserts its identity in a long sweep that runs from the base of the rear screen and through to the centre of the hatch. This smoothly curved, glossy black section houses the Renault badge. Hinting at the vehicle’s dynamic powertrain, a twin exhaust tailpipe is incorporated into the rear bumper.
Koleos Concept also boasts a wide range of driver aids. Some are designed for day-to-day motoring, like ABS, Emergency Brake Assist and ESP, while others are valuable all-terrain functions such as Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
Clio Sport Tourer: attractive, practical and roomy
Entering a niche market is the first-ever estate version of Clio. It draws on the strengths of the rest of the Clio III family in terms of road-holding, roominess, ride comfort and safety. Clio Sport Tourer is one of the most compact cars of its kind on the market, striking an intelligent balance between elegant, sleek design, with its steeply raked rear screen, and roomy practicality with a generously-sized (439 litres) luggage bay.
Grand Modus, a genuine Renault MPV
Renault has put all its expertise as a pioneer of the MPV into Grand Modus. With an overall length of 4,034mm, a wheelbase of 2,575mm, the new model features expressive, appealing looks in keeping with Renault's approach to the MPV. The large glazed surface area accentuates the sensation of space when sitting inside the car. Grand Modus’ user-friendly driving position combines the advantages of a saloon with those of an MPV and features centrally-positioned instruments that are easy to read for driver and all passengers.-Renault
