This announcement came during a visit by Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakian, Prime Minister Ara Harutunian and other government officials to Shoushi with the aim of launching projects to revitalize the cultural life in that city.
In assessing the construction projects underway in Shoushi, President Sahakian emphasized the importance of maintaining the architectural integrity of Shoushi, as well as the utilization of proper materials to that end.
The Sahakian-led delegation also visited the Shoushi museum, the Sos Sargsyan Children's Theater, where after assessing the poor conditions of the building, a decision was made to temporarily move the activities of the theater to the Yerevan Theater in the center of town.
