RTS Index, the main indicator of the Russian stock market set the next record. On December 10, 2007 by the end of the trading session the index made up 2330.45 points.
The previous record of RTS Index was registered on November 08, 2007 when RTS Index reached 2288,15 points.
The highest intra-day value was registered at the level of 2333,00 points. The previous highest value was registered on November 09, 2007 at the level of 2301,74 points.
Futures on RTS Index to be executed in December 2007 have closed today at the level of 2353.45 points which is 23 points over the current RTS Index value.
This is the evidence of the optimistic attitude of the professional market participants in Russia, and it is believed, that in the middle of December 2007 Russian stock market will exceed 2350 points in RTS Index.
