New store in Murayama will showcase latest Nissan brand identity, offer huge selection of used vehicles
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced the opening of its latest megastore for used-cars, "Carminal Tokyo"Â, and a brand new dealership called "Tokyo Nissan-Shinsha no Hiroba"Â in Murayama. The two dealerships will showcase Nissan's new dealership visual identity to better serve customers. The new stores are located on a 40,000m2 site, built on a former company facility, the Nissan Murayama plant.
Carminal Tokyo will be operated by Nissan Used-Car Center Co., Ltd., a company wholly owned by Nissan. The official opening is scheduled for January 3, 2007. "Tokyo Nissan-Shinsha no Hiroba"Â had started operations from November 24, 2006. Both dealerships boast a combined area of 40,000 m2; a shopping center is located adjacent to the new facility, providing further retailing for customers. The opening of the dedicated vehicle park is expected to draw more traffic to Murayama and contribute to the revitalization of the local community.
