GM Certified Used Vehicles, the industry’s top-selling manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand*, announced it has reached an agreement to list all GM Certified Used Vehicles on AutoMercado.com, the industry’s first 100% all-Spanish language automotive listings website.

GM Certified is the first manufacturer-certified used vehicle brand to provide all-Spanish language listings for its entire national inventory on AutoMercado.com.

The AutoMercado.com relationship provides Spanish-speaking and bilingual Hispanic shoppers a new online resource that makes it easier for them to research and find GM Certified Used Vehicles.

The agreement with AutoMercado.com also includes GM Certified online advertising on the site, as well as print ads in Cox Auto Trader sister publications Auto Mercado magazine and Auto Trader En Español.

All GM Certified Used Vehicles units featured on AutoMercado.com will be distinguished with a GM Certified brand icon to help visitors easily identify GM Certified Used Vehicles. Visitors can click the icon to quickly link to the all-new, Spanish-language gmcertified.com website, where shoppers can learn more about the peace-of-mind benefits of GM Certified Used Vehicles, view current rate incentives, search from over 60,000 vehicles in inventory, and locate a GM Certified dealer in their area.

“Listing our entire national inventory on AutoMercado.com will help us educate the growing number of Hispanic shoppers – Spanish-speaking and bilingual – on the selection, value and peace-of-mind assurances of GM Certified Used Vehicles,” said Larry Pryg, national advertising and marketing manager, GM Certified Used Vehicles. “Increasing numbers of today’s Hispanic consumers now use the Web to research and shop for their next used vehicle, and as the category leader, GM Certified is committed to reaching this important audience.

“Our new relationship with AutoMercado.com provides convenient access to all GM Certified inventory fully translated into Spanish. This listings agreement continues GM Certified’s commitment to interactive marketing, building on our existing relationships with AutoTrader.com, cars.com and AutoMart.com.”

“The Internet plays a critical role in generating consumer interest in certified used vehicles and English-language vehicle listings sites are under-serving the 7.1 million Hispanics now shopping online,” said Melissa Commons, general manager, AutoMercado.com. “Research by Cobalt indicates 84 percent of Hispanic Web users would be more likely to do their automotive shopping online if they could do so in Spanish, and three of every four AutoMercado.com users prefer Spanish language on the Internet.”-General motos
