Neo, a new Design Driven manufacturer, entered the already cluttered Mobile Phone market with a goal to bring some new flavor to the industry. Their goal was simple. Design some of the most unique looking handsets in the market and win the consumers interest. Easier said than done. But Neo started on the right track and successfully launched their first Mobile Phone which is considered to be the smallest fully featured handset in the world. With its great style, its landscape orientation of use and its long feature list, the phone quickly became a widely accepted handset in the GCC market. The sales of the handset surpassed the expectations of Neo and many of its retail partners. With its lovable quality, it became the third highest selling phone at many retail stores in Dubai, which is the company's home market. The aim behind the first phone (Neo 808i) was to prove to the potential consumers, that Neo really is concentrating on doing something different.
Neo has already planned its next three handsets that will be launched in 2008. Each phone will be distinctively designed keeping true to its brand ethos of "Your Style." These will be unveiled at the Brightpoint booth at the industry's biggest event, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2008.
