A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security is scheduled to convene to review the security scenario in the wake of assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
The meeting take place on Friday evening after the return of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh from Goa, sources said.
The Centre has issued an alert to all states last night for maintaining tight vigil, especially along the Indo-Pak border following assassination of Bhutto.
Border Security Force (BSF) guarding the Indo-Pak border has been asked to remain vigilant following the killing of Bhutto, a Home Ministry spokesman said. - DDNEWS
