Security of Nawaz Sharif beefed up

The deployment of elite force commandoes and armed mobile contingents of police to fully ensure foolproof security cover to the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan.In this connection official of Pakistan are in constant touch with Nawaz Sharif with his security and utmost necessary measures have been adopted in this regard.

ISLAMABAD, Dec 28 Pakistan's interior ministry said Friday that opposition leaders and several politicians under threat of attack following the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.Nawaz Shariff.the opposition Leader is on the list of Threats of fundamentalist.

“There are other people who are under threat and whenever we receive information we pass it on to the concerned people,” ministry spokesman Brigadier Javed Cheema told a news conference.

Asked to give examples, he named Sharif as well as Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former ministers Sheikh Rashid and Aftab Sherpao.

Presently,Giving the details of security staff deployed at the residence of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif at Raiwind, IGP said that police personnels including 10 Officers, 40 Head Constables/Constables,4 mobile teams of elite force, SHO,Raiwind headed by DSP VIP Security Baqir Hussain perform duty in one shift while second shift fresh staff replace the first shift.
