Cricket: India declared 325/9 - Canberra ACT Invitational XI.

Wasim Jaffer missed his ton as he was out to score 92.However India's stylish batsman Yuvraj score 02 runs falied to impress as his poor form continued. India made 9-325 and declared on the first day of their three-day game against an ACT Invitational XI

Canberra paceman Luke Swards took three wickets for 45 runs removed 52-Test veteran Virender Sehwag for 24 and Dinesh Karthik for 25 before Jaffer and Rahul Dravid (62) added 93 for the third wicket.Virender shared a 66-run opening stand with Jaffer before he was caught at second slip by a high-leaping Mark Higgs.

Jaffer got out to the bowling of spinner Higgs, hitting a lofted drive to deep mid-on, and 10 runs later Yuvraj was caught in the gully for two at 4-220.

A victim to poor shot from the left-hander who has scores of 0, 5, 12 and 0 in the first two Tests.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni blasted 38 off 37 balls. Ace Spinner Harbhajan Singh was booed by some fans and cheered by others on his way out to the crease for a third-ball duck.

Home side were ten for no loss at the close of the day.
