The media had reports that Batliboi Limited may acquire a textile equipment manufacturer in Europe for close to Rs. 90 crore.
The National Stock Exchange Of India, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Batliboi Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,"We wish to clarify that this report is speculative and not factually correct. It is the Company's strategy to grow both through organic and inorganic routes, and the Company is continuously evaluating opportunities for such growth.
