The Muses 100/Patroness Circle of the McCallum Theatre will celebrate their 20th Anniversary with a fantastic fundraising event, "A Theatre Ball," on February 16, 2008, at the Westin Mission Hills, Rancho Mirage.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Raymond Saar and Diane Ketchie, Broadway stars who have performed all over the world including a command performance at the White House and Carnegie Hall.
"The Westin Mission Hills will be transformed into the Paris Opera House of the 1800's. This black tie evening combines music, theater, dining and dancing with festivities starting at 6pm,." says Fran Muir, Chair of this event. "You will enter a magic world the minute you walk down the red carpet where you will experience an evening to remember,' says Muir.
Assisting Muir in planning the event are Muse President Nancy Crandell and Ways and Means members Lee Appel and Audrey Nagelberg.
Proceeds from the event benefit arts education programs provided by McCallum Theatre Institute, education division of the McCallum, that serve 37,500 children and classroom teachers.
