Honorary President of the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, C N R Rao has been elected as the Distinguished Research Professor of Materials by the University of Cambridge.
Rao, a National Research professor has also been declared Laureate of the Khwarizmi International Award by the Government of Iran, an official release said on Thursday.
"It is the result of his dedication, excellence and sustained hard work in the field of research," the award letter from the Iranian government said.
The award will be presented by the President of Iran during the first week of February, the release added.- Source: By DDI News
