American Stock Exchange Lists Units Of Sports Properties

The American Stock Exchange lists the units of Sports Properties Acquisition Corporation under the ticker symbol HMR.U. The company issued 20,000,000 units (excluding over-allotment) at $10.00 unit for gross proceeds of $200,000,000.

Each unit consists of one ordinary share of common stock and one warrant. Initially, the units will be the only security trading. Banc of America Securities LLC is the lead underwriter on the IPO.

Sports Properties Acquisition Corporation is a newly formed company organized for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset stock acquisition, exchangeable share transaction or other similar business combination with one or more domestic or international operating businesses in the sports, leisure or entertainment industries.
