Mary Sean Young in fact had too much to drink, and not sufficient concentration paid to her throughout the DGA awards Saturday night.
USA Today and Perez Hilton both report that the inebriated actress made a display of herself, discomforting the people at her table.
During the DGA Awards, where the five nominated feature film directors made a speech before the winner was announced, "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" director Julian Schnabel was the last to speak.
Shortly after he took the podium, Sean Young, seated near the stage, cut him off by shouting out, "Oh come on — get to it!"
Hilton's sources say the actress was seated "at the same table as power couples Les Monves & Julie Chen and Steven Soderbergh & Jules Asner, who all tried to ignore her."
"When she wasn't yelling, Sean would stand up, put on her white fur coat and walk around her table and then retake her seat (while people were onstage accepting awards)," a shocked eyewitness tells Hilton.
Hilton's source continues: "She also licked the neck of her date (some grey haired dude who looked like a lawyer-type guy), screamed in French at French actress Marion Cotillard, and when cutie pie Kristen Chenoweth belted out a few bars to a song (encouraged by Carl Reiner) Sean started singing too."
A shocked Schnabel searched the crowd to ask who was scolding him. When Young repeated "get to it!" Schnabel quickly wrapped up his speech, instructing Young to "have another drink, Honey," and started to leave the stage.
But upon the audience's insistence, Schnabel finished, and Young, stumbling in her white fur coat, was forcibly escorted out of the ballroom by two security guards, and at one point she fell to the floor.

Mary Sean Young (born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 20, 1959) is an American actress.
Mary Sean Young was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Donald Young and Lee Guthrie. She graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and the School of American Ballet in New York. As she launched her film career, Young participated in a stage production in Los Angeles titled Stardust[1] and took modeling work.
In 1990 she married Robert Lujan, with whom she has two children. Rio Kelly Lujan was born in 1994 and Quinn Lee Lujan in 1998. By 2002 Sean Young and Robert Lujan were divorced.
She began her film career in 1980 in the film Jane Austen in Manhattan, followed by a small role in the 1981 film Stripes, and a substantial part in the cult classic Blade Runner (1982). Young also screen-tested for the role of Marion Ravenwood in the film Raiders of the Lost Ark, but lost the part to Karen Allen.
Young had a small role in the film Wall Street as the wife of Michael Douglas' character. Her role was originally intended to be larger, but was significantly reduced due to clashes with Oliver Stone and her co-stars.
One of her biggest roles was in No Way Out, playing opposite Kevin Costner. Other notable credits include Dune, Fatal Instinct, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend.
Sean Young hit tabloids after work on a film titled The Boost led to co-star James Woods's filing a lawsuit against Young for harassment. Young would again experience a set back by getting fired from a role in 1990's Dick Tracy film.
She was set to star as Vicky Vale in Tim Burton's Batman but due to a horse riding injury she was replaced by Kim Basinger. She sought a role in the sequel Batman Returns as Catwoman but was unsuccessful.[1] In that attempt she had made a home-made costume and attempted to confront director Tim Burton and actor Michael Keaton during production.
During much of 1990s she left Los Angeles to live in Sedona, Arizona and her career cooled. Adding to the downfall of her career she received two Razzie Awards for her role in A Kiss Before Dying. A Razzie Award is an award for the worst acting rather than best. She has 5 other nominations since 1992 for Razzie Awards besides her two wins.
In recent years, Sean Young has been busy with a variety of independent films and guest appearances on television. In 2005 she spent four months in Russia filming a miniseries in which she plays dancer Isadora Duncan. Young also starred in Poor White Trash. The film was written by Michael Addis and Tony Urban, and it was named one of the top 10 overlooked films of 2001 by Reel.com.
Sean Young was slated to appear in a starring role on the MyNetwork TV telenovela Art of Betrayal. However, media reports surfaced with allegations that Young was difficult and demanding during filming of promotional spots for the show. In July 2006, it was announced that Young's role would be played instead by Tatum O'Neal.
