China's Senior Party official meets Norwegian FM

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met here Monday with visiting Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere.

Wang said the CPC is willing to enhance party-to-party exchanges so as to promote the development of bilateral relations. Stoere said the Norwegian government is ready to cooperate with the Chinese side on the matter.

Wang introduced to Stoere the development of China's domestic affairs, China's pursuit of peaceful development and its efforts in building a harmonious world.

Stoere is scheduled to visit China from Jan. 28 to 31, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
