
A Royal Jordanian passenger plane made an emergency landing at Ben Gurion International Airport Wednesday night due to a storm in Amman.
A Kol Yisrael reporter says that according to airline procedure, in such circumstances, a plane should be diverted to Aqaba or Damascus. However, the pilot requested permission to land in Israel because the flight was carrying 100 Israelis returning from Bangkok.
