Armenian Diocese Invites Faithful to Christmas Events on Jan 6

Christmas Divine Liturgy
The Christian faithful and the members of the Armenian community are invited to attend the Christmas Divine Liturgy on January 6th to be celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian at the Diocesan Complex of the Armenian Church in Burbank, CA.

Services will begin at 10:00AM and will have participation by special ecumenical guests, including Fr. Alexei Smith of the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles who will be delivering the sermon.

Christmas Reception at the Western Diocese of Armenian Church

We are pleased to inform our reverend clergy, diocesan delegates, community organizations, and the faithful of the Armenian Church that the Western Diocese will be hosting its annual Christmas Reception in the Kalaydjian Hall of the Arshag and Eleanor Dickranian Diocesan Complex on January 6, 2006 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian will preside over the event and along with the clergy of the Western Diocese will conduct a traditional Home Blessing service.

During this event there will be performances by the Zvartnotz Musical group, the Paregamootyun Dance group, as well as the Angels Youth Choir of St. Peter Armenian Church, Van Nuys.

The Western Diocese looks forward in sharing in the good news of the birth and revelation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with the faithful of the Armenian Church during this reception. - Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.
