...seems like advrtising to me.

#2 Rio Dental

It may look like that. But I am the one who submitted this story and we have not received any benefits or have not even been in contact with Rio Dental. AP had covered the story. We provided the news and went to Rio Dental's website and published the information from there. I stated here that this publication has not received any benefits in any way from Rio Dental.

#3 Rio Dental

Ok then... I still *looks* a bit spammy, but I concede that there is some interest there, and anyway it's one of the top stories, so people must care.

#4 Rio Dental

That's right, it was a top story and since the story did not have much except saying that many Americans go to Mexico for dental care and elaborated on Rio Dental, wrote about that and took the rest of the information from Rio Dental's site just for the public knowledge. We are in North Carolina and Rio Dental is in Mexico, so really no interest.

On a different note, thanks a lot for the two stories that you wrote last night. Both are very interesting. The other one is very outrageous that people can do those things during flight. I even found the video in YouTube.

#5 My writing

You're very welcome. I've already done a large amount of news writing over at en.wikinews.org, and thought I'd spread myself out a bit. One has to wonder what the transcripts of the cockpit voice recorder would have looked like had there been an accident or incident during the flight...

#6 My father had extensive work

My father had extensive work done at Rio Dental starting in July 2010 and ending in March 2011. My warning to you all is DO NOT GO TO RIO DENTAL. They are extremely unprofessional, the staff smokes in the clinic, and there are children running around.
All of this wouldn't bother me that much if they had done a halfway decent job on my dad's smile.
They completely altered the anatomy of his face with 10 shoddy implants. The crowns that went on the implants are so thick he speaks with a permanent lisp.
We have gone to a local dental professional to have the word evaluated. They did a total of 10 implants, 6 of those have to be taken out and bone grafts have to be done in their place so that his jaw can be saved. One of the humongous crowns they places 6 months ago has already broken in half.
Most of the implants the doctor there placed completely missed the bone they were supposed to go in, and are instead being held in place by gum tissue, making a massive infection very possible.

In order to fix JUST the implants, not the crowns that are on top of it, two local dentists have quoted us around 22K. We are talking the cost of a brand new car.
This work of course has to be done so that dad can have a normal smile again, but we are not happy.
