Commenting on Boris Tadic’s re-election victory as Serbia’s president - Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said it was good for Serbia and the entire region.
Pro-European Serbian President Boris Tadic had a narrow margin on his side during Sunday’s runoff election.
According to news agency TT, Bildt said that while the election did not mean the political showdown over Serbia’s future is over, he said that at least today’s attempt at driving Serbia into a new nationalistic cul-de-sac had failed.
