Couture Designer Eduardo Lucero will be the featured designer for Fashion Week El Paseo™. His collection for Spring '07 and Fall '08 will be shown on March 29 at 7:00 p.m. on the runway in the Great White Fashion Tent in Palm Desert.
A Los Angeles-based designer, Lucero is known for his vivid colors, feminine detailing, and curvaceous silhouettes that are consistently red-carpet favorites. His fashions have been worn by Eva Longoria, Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Tilly, Daisy Fuentes, Alicia Silverstone, Jada Pinkett Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Tori Spelling, Vanessa Williams, and many other celebrities. His collections - which have been featured in Elle, Flaunt, W, and Los Angeles Times - will be showcased in the March Fashion issue of Palm Springs Life magazine.
Lucero graduated from Otis-Parsons School of Design and worked in graphic design, fashion photography, illustration, and costume design for television and film. He launched his high-end women's collection in 1994 and was awarded Los Angeles California Mart's Rising Star Award three years later.
Lucero has presented his collections at Los Angeles Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Gen Art Chicago, and Asia Pacific Young Fashion Designers in Hong Kong, Mexico City, and Acapulco.
