Iran Won't Cut Cooperation With IAEA

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Husseini said today that Iran will not cut its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and stressed the country's commitment to the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty.

The remarks came after the Iranian parliament approved a bill last week obliging the government to revise its cooperation with the IAEA following the passage of UN Security Council Resolution 1737.

The resolution, passed in late December, imposes sanctions on Iran over its refusal to suspend uranium enrichment.
