Shell Kepler, known for her role on the TV soap opera General Hospital, died Friday at the age of 49. Her cause of death was not disclosed.
Kepler played on General Hospital from 1979 to 2002 and was a guest star in several episodes of Three’s Compnay. She also appeared in the movie Homework.
She was also a businesswoman as she marketed clothing on the Home Shopping Club.
Shell Kepler was married twice and divorced twice. She is survived by her brother Fred.

In some forums there are talks that Shell Kepler died of Renal Failure.
TMZ report says that "according to the Medical Examiner's office, Kepler died of renal failure. After her stint on "General Hospital" ended, Kepler moved to Portland and got involved in charity fundraising."
