Well it has been just over a year now and Labatts has done what it set out to do.

They couldn’t beet use, so they bought us

They took this plant and so called, legally over a period of time, removed 80% of our product volume to another PLANT. We were told we were not profitable.
A plant of over 200 employees working 24, 6 shifts a day, five days a week, and in as little time as 5 years acquires over 21% of the beer market not profitable. YA RIGHT the CEO and share holders sure got a bundle for SELLING US
OUT.

We proved that you can produce beer 24 for 24, NOT the outrageous prices
people are forced to pay for on other brands. They blame it on government taxes
Don’t kid yourself, its CORPERATE profit on a grand scale.

We are now down to only 3 shifts 4 ½ days of production. Employing about
only 60 hard working people now.

Now they are threatening to close the doors, we are in the midst of contract negotiations. Company says they are at an impasse, if we don’t accept their
offer they will close the doors. The way I see it they want to run this plant the way they do things down in BRAZIL.

I am asking the readers out here to check it out on the internet, we were purchased by Labatts, which is owned by some company in BRAZIL which is owned by InBev in GERMANY.

InBev was in trouble some time back for possible price fixing of the beer market
over there. They saved their buts by ratting out to their government about two other companies that were in cahoots with them.

I am tired and at my wits end, our government has been shoving down our throats,
WE NEED FOREIGN INVESTMENT. That’s a statement, my last FOUR jobs all were foreign investments all four jobs after a about a year, ALL WENT SOUTH.

That’s it for now just had to vent, Don’t know were I will get a job now, my age
is a factor on top of everything as well.

Another sore point is our so called COMPETITION BUREAU, Why do they exist, they have never helped me or anyone I know who have found themselves in the same situation. Get rid of them, they are completely USELESS. JUST ANOTHER GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT BLOOD SUCKING BLIGHT
