We are having a call for one act plays written by high school and college students in the North Houston area (Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, Magnolia, etc) for our summer season. Up to three plays will be selected and performed as staged readings by local actors.
The complete rules for submission can be found at the Aside Productions website: asideproductions.org. Deadline to submit scripts is April 27, 2008.
If you know anyone in the area who is interested and fits the requirements, please pass it on. The three playwrights will attend workshops to further develop the script, work with local actors in order to make the script performance ready, and particate in a feedback process to help develop his or her skills.
