Autism Sunday - 'Open Every Door' song for autism re-released in London

(London, UK) 'Open Every Door,' the song for autism has been re-released in London by Media Eye Music in time for Autism Sunday on 10th February 2008. 'Open Every Door' was composed by the Sri Lanka born singer/songwriter who dedicated the song to the Autism Awareness Campaign UK. It is sung by Birmingham based musician Rozagy who was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome a few years ago.

Autism Sunday - the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, was launched in 2002 by parents and carers Ivan and Charika Corea who set up the Autism Awareness Campaign UK in 2000. Churches and religious organisations of all denominations have been asked to mark the day and remember the 60 million people with autism worldwide and over 500,000 people with autism in the United Kingdom in prayer.

Prayers will also be said for Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Children's Secretary Ed Balls that they will act on autism and Asperger's Syndrome and see the suffering of some parents, carers and people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome who are struggling without proper public services.

Mps of all parties are signing an early day motion on Autism Sunday in the House of Commons. EDM 874 was tabled by the parliamentarian David Drew.
