According to figures calculated by the European Wind Energy Association, Sweden generates roughly 800 megawatt yearly from its wind power plants - compared to 22,000 megawatt produced in Germany.

They refer to the fact that other countries boosted their wind power industry by guaranteed prices – which has not happened here in Sweden.
