Berkshire Museum Presents Family Performance

The Berkshire Museum will partner with the Berkshire Theatre Festival's BTF PLAYS! to present the Family Performance Aesop's Network: Broadcasting Theatrical Fables at the Pittsfield YMCA this February. Performances will be offered daily at 11 a.m., Monday, February 18, through Saturday, February 23, at the YMCA auditorium.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children ages 3-18 ($5/$3 for Berkshire Museum members).

Family Performances at the Berkshire Museum are underwritten by the Sol and Rita Toscher Memorial Fund and sponsored by Pittsfield Cooperative Bank.

Written by E. Gray Simons III, Aesop's Network: Broadcasting Theatrical Fables explores the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in "The Tortoise and the Hare," explains the tragic truth about "The Ants and the Grasshopper," gives the scoop on "The Boy Who Cried Wolf," and tells both sides of the story in "The Lion and the Mouse."

Berkshire Theatre Festival's year-round education program, BTF PLAYS! serves area students from kindergarten through high school. At the heart of BTF PLAYS! is a passionate commitment to bring live theatre and all its inherent excitement and creativity to children in our region. Since its inception in 1984, the program has reached more than 50,000 students in underserved rural and inner city schools throughout Berkshire Country. -- www.berkshiremuseum.org
