so with all the recalls are Chevy dealers going to put customers into rentals? cause i'm sure this isn't going to be a one day thing....
The concerned vehicles don't meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 201, 'Occupant Protection in Interior Impact.' Only 2006-2008 model year HHRs seem to have te defect. GM will install an energy-absorbing plastic piece to the headliner trim on all affected models. The recall is expected to start next month.
The HHR is a retro-styled estate launched in 2006. It is available with a choice of three petrol engines, a 149bhp 2.2-litre unit, a 172bhp 2.4-litre engine and the topping 260bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre unit.

I also think they should have a recall on the brakes. Way to many brake problems with this car
recall of HHR
How can they think that a "energy-absorbing PLASTIC piece" be safe????
I think they need to buy back these vehicles or put in a AIR BAG on the side of these vehicles to make sure they are safe. I know I am selling mine,,,
How could they have sold these vehicles in the first place. Dont they go through these SAFETY TEST before they start to sell them?????
I dont think I will ever buy a chevy again.
