Seven activists from a climate action group were taken into custody Friday afternoon at Malmö Airport.
The group was detained after they ran towards the tarmac in an attempt to disrupt flights.
Some 20 activists dressed up as polar bears and penguins played dead on the floor of the airport terminal, shouting occasional slogans such as, ”take the train instead!”
Security had been tightened at several airports around the country on Friday after the threat from environmental activists was discovered online.
