The Newark Museum is mounting a unique exhibition exploring the phenomenon of the snapshot and wants to include your favorite snapshots in it.

Many of us have favorite snapshots that we enjoy and cherish. More often than not they’ve been taken on vacation; at a birthday party; or during visits with friends and relatives. We take snapshots of loved ones, pets and our favorite things and places to capture experiences now and to revisit and relive them later.

NOW is THEN: Snapshots from the Maresca Collection, will run through May 11. A unique feature of the exhibition will be a continually changing display of snapshots submitted online by the public which will be presented on 18 flat-screen monitors.

Snapshots may be submitted online to The Newark Museum Flickr Group by going to The Newark Museum website: www.newarkmuseum.org.

You may upload up to ten digital photos as often as you wish up to the week the exhibition closes. There is no charge for the submissions. -- www.newarkmuseum.org
