Tropical Storm Carlos continues to strengthen today in the warm waters of the Eastern Pacific, and will likely become a hurricane sometime today or tonight. As Carlos continues to churn out to sea, forecast paths indicate that the storm will begin approaching the Hawaiian Islands by mid to late next week.
While conditions are favorable for further development of this system it is unknown whether the Hawaiian Island could potentially feel impacts from this storm. However upper level wind patterns may begin breaking Carlos apart or potentially skirt it around the islands.
It is still to early to know what impacts (if any) this storm may have but interests in the Hawaiian islands should monitor Carlos for any further updates.
