
Au Bon Pain will become the new tenant restaurant at the Boston Children's Museum, with a late winter 2007 opening planned. The announcement comes as the museum is undergoing an extensive $47 million expansion and renovation project to be completed in Spring 2007.

"Our nutrition kiosk and diverse menu offerings will allow the many families and children who visit the museum to make health-conscious choices when enjoying a great tasting meal or snack."Â

"Their chefs have been working with us to create a menu that will offer healthy choices for the thousands of families that visit the Museum each year."Â
Features of Au Bon Pain located at the Boston Children's Museum will include:
- Nutrition Kiosk: Created in partnership with the Boston Children's Museum, the kiosk features a variety of interactive games that help children make healthier food choices while learning about nutrition.
- Kids Lunch & Dinner Menu: A selection of kid-friendly fare will be served with sliced apple, baby carrots or chips. Breakfast selections include yogurt, oatmeal with a choice of toppings, fruit cups and bagels. Lunch selections include macaroni & cheese, turkey sandwich and chicken tenders.
- Design: The restaurant will feature colorful, kid-friendly materials, 3-D murals, and a contemporary lunchroom space, as well as an outdoor patio with waterway views.
