I was really pulling for Mark Martin to win the race, but he just didn't come through. He started in mid pack, and finished 29th, I believe. My other favorite Jeff Gordon, didnt do so hot either, he got nocked out of the race for a split second then came back in I am not sure what he finished. This race was better then races in the past seasons.

Daytona 500 was mostly clean racing for the 50th great american race. Their was no cheap shots, or no causing others to wreck. This is my kind of racing when it is clean racing, and I am glad of how the Daytona 500 came about today. But I am not happy that Ryan Newman won. Dale Jr finished second and did really good through out the race.

He has improved since seasons past when he had his lack of luck. I kind of hate it that Newman won because all I will hear tomorrow morning when I watch Wndu, is all bout newman, because he is an Indiana man. Jr. Shouldnt feel to bad by his comments after the race, because he did awesome compared to others who didnt do so hot. I am clearly excited about this new season and nascar, and Now I will have to get used to a new name when people ask me about nascar, I will have to remember every time what it is called. I so get tired of the constant name changing. I was happier, when it was called The Winston Cup Series!
