Swedish Radio news reports claim that many people here are being forced to pay for their AIDS and HIV medicines - which are supposed to be handed over without any cost.
The report maintains that 11% of all this medicine is being sold at the nation’s pharmacies - instead of being given free. The study claims that while this is happening all over the country - 90% of these sales are taking place in the far southern province of Blekinge.
Social welfare authorities are now checking on why the doctors’ prescriptions for this medicine are not marked with the ”no cost” stamp.
