Swedes are travelling further and further abroad for their winter sports holidays.
While the northern Swedish mountains used to be the top choice for many ski-loving youngsters and their families during the week-long winter break from school, more and more Swedes – with thick wallets, of course – are heading for such sun-soaked spots such as Goa in India and the Cape Verde island off the African coast.
