The iFestival will feature an inspiring programme of events, designed to celebrate and nurture a culture of innovation in the region, with activity targeted around young people, businesses, communities and research organisations supporting or involved within an innovation environment.
Supported by East Midlands Innovation, the regional Science, Innovation and Industry Council, and East Midlands Development Agency (emda), the 2008 iFestival will build on the success of the 2007 inaugural event and continue the drive to develop an innovation community working together to bring bright ideas to life, creating a great future for the East Midlands.
Last year, the University of Leicester organised several events under the iFestival banner including the 'Science and Innovation' Saturday.
