Much of the 40 percent increase in sales is attributed to women. According to the branch organization, half the Swedish population play computer games, nowadays with equal numbers of men and women.
PCs remain the most popular gaming platform among Swedes, but the most growth is among the three consoles Xbox 360, Wii, and Playstation 3.
