Vaccines to Prevent Cancer of the Uterus in Sweden

The Swedish Social Welfare Board is expected to come out soon with a recommendation that vaccinations to prevent cancer of the uterus should be included in the series of vaccinations given to young children in this Nordic nation.

Medical experts in Sweden have earlier called for vaccinations both for young girls and for boys - claiming that boys carrying viruses can contribute to the cancer in the girls and can also develop cancer themselves in their own sex organs.
