Australian cricket coach Tim Nielsen says both the Indian and Australian players should not change the way they play the game.
Ishant Sharma and Andrew Symonds were involved in a confrontation in yesterday's one-day international after the Indian bowler dismissed the Australian batsman.
Nielsen says there is a clear line in the sand when it comes to on-field behaviour, which was not crossed last night.
"There's no doubt that both teams are playing the game very hard, no inches are asked for and none is given and that's how we like to play the game," he said.
"At the moment there are circumstances that are leading to different things being spoken about and again the match referee and officials are looking after that."
In a seperate issue, Indian wicket-keeper MS Dhoni was forced to change his gloves during yesterday's game because they did not meet International cricket guidelines.
Nielsen says it is up to the match officials to ensure players are using the correct equipment.
"He would have gone on the fact that his suppliers supplied the gloves and he whacked them on they felt good and he wore them," he said.
"Its something that they are working through at the moment. If it's worked out that they're not right then that will be dealt with, if they are right he'll probably wear them when on Tuesday when he plays again."
