One of Sweden’s most blatant cases of ethnic discrimination has been dropped because the 2-year time limit for legal action has run out.
The angry plaintiffs have now reported the discrimination ombudsman to the general prosecutor for the lack of action and are demanding damages.
A 25-year old film maker and his brother were barred from several night clubs and restaurants-and returned to secretly film doormen refusing to let them enter.
The ombudsman’s office claims that there have been so many reports of discrimination that time ran out before the case could be taken up properly. The office wrote to the clubs several times for comments but never got an answer.
