Swedish agricultural exports are reaching record levels... In 2007 exports earned Sweden over 6.5 billion US Dollars.

Almost a fifth of that comes from liquid grain... In other words Vodka.

But other popular Swedish food products abroad include pre-packaged food, cakes, cappuccino powder and bread. Over 70 percent of the exports go to the EU, and Håkan Björklund from the National Food Administration says that Swedish food is much in demand with a good reputation abroad, even though it often isn’t the cheapest food on the market. Apart from vodka, another success story is Swedish-made Tex-Mex, with exports all around the world, except Mexico.
