JVC's Lineup of Arsenal CD Receivers

JVC Mobile introduces six new Arsenal CD receivers, KD-APD38, KD-APD58, KD-AR480, KD-AR780 and KD-AR880 in addition to a multimedia DVD/CD Receiver KD-ADV5380.

These Arsenal 2007 models, the sixth of the series, include enhanced, competitive features to further promote the brand, such as gold-plated line/subwoofer output, two-year warranty, steering remote control ready, and unique cosmetic look with black-colored face panel and more. In addition, these models also feature JVC Mobile's standard MOS-FET Power Amp, 24-Bit DAC, continuous power output (RMS):20W x 4 and MP3/WMA compatible. KD-AR880 is also AAC compatible.

Superior Sound
From high-end to affordable models, JVC offers something for everyone without scrimping on sound quality. JVC Mobile incorporates high-grade parts throughout its products, including high-grade capacitors tuned to match different types of music (from jazz to vocals) and copper frame operational amps.

Advanced Connections
JVC Mobile offers a wider choice of connections with its new receivers. USB enables increased convenience for USB port, and an increased lineup of AUX-IN models allows for connections to any portable device. Front mounted USB is offered on the KD-AR880.

Peripheral Steering Wheel Control Interface
The PESWIAKJ Peripheral Steering Wheel Control Interface is available for use with all Arsenal CD receivers. The interface retains use of steering wheel audio controls on most vehicles. It even maintains heater and A/C controls on equipped GM Vehicles. The unit connects to the rear of the JVC unit and even provides an input for an external wired remote control.

iPod® Control
Enjoy even more connections with the optional KS-PD100 adapter and full operation with iPod ready models KD-AR480, KD-AR780, KD-AR880, KD-ADV5380 and KD-BT1. The KS-PD100 Interface Adaptor for iPod includes information display with the same categories and layers as iPod, battery recharge for connected iPod and space saving hideaway unit. Models KD-APD38 and KD-APD58 include an iPod cable in the box and have an iPod controller built-in so that customers can control the iPod directly from the head unit and see the read out information on the direct display.

Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
With KS-BTA200 optional adapter, Bluetooth Wireless Technology can be used with compatible devices. Use the adaptor with KD-AR780 and KD-AR880 to experience hands-free calls (up to a maximum of five mobile phones can be registered for hands-free calling), audio streaming and control and phone book transfer. With voice-recognition mobile phones, you can dial by just saying the name in your phone book. The wireless functions work even if your mobile phone is tucked away in your bag or pocket. You can also stream music from a compatible digital audio player for listening on your car stereo.

HS-IV Tuner
All Arsenal models minus the KD-ADV5380 feature an HS-IV tuner, which features higher sensitivity, thanks to three IF bandwidths (wide, middle and narrow). It also includes AM Noise Canceller plus upgraded IF filters that help avoid the distortion caused by interference from adjacent stations.

DivX® Video Files
As a DivX Ultra Certified product, KD-ADV5380 can play PC-created DivX video files on a USB memory or DVD/CD. The powerful compression of DivX can fit up to 10 movies onto one DVD, or one movie onto one CD, without sacrificing picture quality - JVC.
