President Bush and King Abdullah of Jordan are discussing the Middle East peace process Tuesday at the White House.
The discussion between the two leaders is to be followed by lunch with their wives, First Lady Laura Bush and Queen Rania.
On Friday, King Abdullah spoke at Princeton University in the eastern state of New Jersey, calling for a greater U.S. effort during the final months of the Bush administration to resolve the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
He said the present circumstances are the best to resolve 60 years of conflict. He said if President Bush does not address the situation, it will be years before the next president will be willing to get involved.
