Swedish ice hockey star Peter Forsberg returned to the National Hockey League and the Colorado Avalanche Tuesday.
In his NHL comeback the former MVP logged a lot of ice time, playing for just under 20 minutes, and made three shots but no goals.
The Avalanche defeated Vancouver 2-1, moving ahead of the Canucks into seventh place in the NHL’s Western Conference.
