Toddler Book Club At Strong National Museum of Play

Inspired by Oprah! Join the Toddler Book Club at Strong National Museum of Play® on selected Mondays at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Parents and toddlers will enjoy sharing stories from award-winning books and authors, and then joining in related music, movement, nature, or art activities.

The Toddler Book Club winter schedule follows:

Mondays, January 8, 22, & 29: The Books of Todd Parr Using bold colors, simple drawings, and reassuring messages, award-winning author/illustrator Todd Parr teaches kids about self acceptance and tolerance of others. Enjoy favorites including The Peace Book, It's Okay to be Different, My Really Cool Baby Book, and The Family Book.

Mondays, February 5, 12, & 26: The Books of Ezra Jack Keats Ezra Jack Keats has delighted children for years with books about Peter and his friends. Hear classic Keats stories including The Snowy Day (which received the Caldecott Medal in 1963), Whistle for Willy, The Pet Show, and more.

Mondays, March 5, 12, 19, & 26: Windy Weather Enjoy stories and activities that celebrate March's blustery weather. Learn about kites, clouds, and trees. Create a windsock, kite, or mobile.
