Swedish Child Allowances Shared by Separated Parents?

The Moderate Conservatives, the ruling party of the Swedish center-right coalition government, proposes that child allowances paid to parents with children be divided equally between separated mothers and the fathers - when there is joint care of the youngsters.

As it is now, all the money is paid automatically to the mother - with no guarantee that any of the subsidy is shared with the father even if the child spends some or even much time with him.
