Lebanon's presidential election has been postponed until March 25 - the 16th delay since September.
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri announced the decision Monday.
Parliament was to meet Tuesday to elect a president, after pro-Syrian head of state Emile Lahoud left office in late November without a successor.
Lebanese rival parties have agreed to elect Army Commander General Michel Suleiman as president. But the vote has been postponed because the rival parties - the Hezbollah-led opposition, and a pro-Western ruling coalition - have failed to agree on the shape of a new government.
