On Saturday, June 28, three of Orange County’s most prominent community cornerstones will be honored at an elegant black-tie event in celebration of KOCE-TV’s 35th Anniversary. Taking place at the five-star Island Hotel in Newport Beach, Calif., the gala fundraiser – complete with an “orange carpet” – expects more than 400 A-listers to be in attendance. This inaugural celebration is anticipated to raise more than $300,000 toward the local and educational programming of Orange County’s public television station.
The upscale gala will celebrate KOCE-TV’s 35 years of serving and participating in the exceptional Orange County community with the theme of “educate, entertain and enlighten.” Guests will enjoy an exquisite evening of spectacular entertainment, sumptuous cuisine, and live and silent auctions featuring breathtaking jewelry, exclusive oversees vacation packages, and much more.
The event will honor the Orange County Register, former president of Disneyland®, Jack Lindquist, and the Orangewood Children’s Foundation – three significant community forces whose ability to educate, entertain and enlighten have transformed Orange County.
